  3. In the military placement military objective module, you need to replace OPF_F with rhs_faction_msv

  4. yes! thank you verymuch heroasandvillansOS, a question though,
    http://alivemod.com/wiki/index.php/Supported_Factions
apparently the tankoviy regiments arent supported as a faction in ALIVE, is it possible to use them regardless?

  5. It's only possible to use them if you make your own faction with the new ORBAT tool/module. From what I can tell, only the factions listed on the wiki will work by default with ALiVE.

  6. rhs_faction_tv is supported but you need separate placement modules for them.

That page could use some updating apparently.

@marceldev89 perhaps you could list the names for all the compatible RHS factions not on there and @SavageCDN could add them when he gets a sec?

  8. ahhhh it has to go hand in hand with msv i guess, ive tried out a separate rhs_faction_tv module but it doesnt work however adding
    rhs_faction_msv,rhs_faction_tv
    seems to do the trick.
    thanks!

Only one faction can go in each of the mil/civ objective modules. Only the military commander module, in this instance, can have multiple factions listed.

If it's not working on its own in the civ/mil objective modules, either something is up with the faction or something is up with your setup.

  10. interesting, mine works just fine with
    ["rhs_faction_msv,rhs_faction_tv"]
in the modules, i even called for a convoy with a T-90 just fine

  11. interesting, apparently the armored vehicles that spawn in the map itself are vanilla armored vehicles, however the logistics for RHS units works just fine, interesting find

question do you sync the two factions if they are separate?
    edit
    i have tested out
rhs_faction_tv in a lone module setup
    apparently it spawns nothing

  13. Pretty sure I have this right above but I certainly could be wrong. @Devs, what's the protocol on using two factions from the same side? One OPCOM and using seperate placement modules? Or two seperate OPCOMS?

@gbem if I was you I'd put rhs_faction_msv,rhs_faction_tv in the military commander module, and put one of them in a synced civ obj module, and the other in a synced mil obj module just to see if they both spawn.

@Devs, can one OPCOM use two civ or two mil obj modules with different factions and different TAORS in each? Assuming yes, but I just want to make sure and not give him bad advice.

  14. well apparently it bugged out, using
    ["rhs_faction_msv,rhs_faction_tv"]
spawns vanilla csat units however logistics still works perfectly fine (which gave me a false positive),

OPCOM can handle multiple factions from the same side only.

Placement modules can only handle a signed faction

Easiest way to tell if a faction is compatible, just bring it up in the ORBAT Creator. It's not really feasible to keep the faction page completely up-to-date because there is a lot happening outside of our control.

  16. i tried syncing the commanders and including an insertion point in the TOAR and success! i now have T-72B3s and T-90s roaming about XD,
although on occasion i get a resurgence of this error
    https://gyazo.com/9c151a62a2e77b3f7878c21f6ecbdb0a

  17. it seems to be a hit or miss whether the error occurs or not,
the same scenario that threw that error has successfully thrown a T-80 into the fray after a couple of reboots/retries, i shall test it further for more details

  18. This is the setup I usually use:

    • 1 MIL placement with force faction set to rhs_faction_msv
    • 1 CIV placement with force faction set to rhs_faction_msv
    • 1 MIL placement with force faction set to rhs_faction_tv and weighting set to Armored
    • 1 CIV placement with force faction set to rhs_faction_tv and weighting set to Armored
    • 1 AI commander with factions set to ["rhs_faction_msv","rhs_faction_tv"]
    • All 4 placement modules synced with the AI commander

    That's it, works 100%.

  19. Thanks marceldev89! So just to be clear, duplicate civ and duplicate mil obj modules are accepted (when synced to the same OPCOM), as long as the factions are different? With the same AO's and TAOR's and everything?

If so that's news to me. And good news at that.

i have tested out @marceldev89`s suggestion, absolutely terrific! thanks for that.
btw can anyone help me figure out how to use the orbat? none of the tutorials in the wiki are decisive enough, following it usually leads to a blank screen like this

  21. @SpyderBlack723 ^ see above :)

@HeroesandvillainsOS  as far as I know you can sync as many as you want. Even with the same faction and TOARs.
