    I use VCOM in just about every mission I run, with a HC on our server. From time to time, I'll notice enemy AI not being as "aware" as I would like, but overall..it's very few and far between. Not enough to be considered an issue. VCOM adds so much to the game it's hard to find fault with it. AI seem to be reacting very well on our server, and the enemy are definitely aggressive in sending QRF forces when engaged.

    It's been a consistent issue.

    This my suggestion....

    Always set logistics modules FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR away from where the players home FOB is. In many of my missions I'll set logisitics module to static/fixed and put it on the far edge of the map. This will help keep your base from getting bombarded with Helo traffic and/or air drops on the top of your FOB.

    Lythium would be the #1 map for ARMA if not for the fact of those non spawning civs in 80% of the buildings.

    FFAA guys really did an outstanding job on it. If only we could get the civ spawning issue fixed.

    Neaville Assault should be good to go. I believe Iron Cross is too but not completely sure.

    I'm gonna start going back through my missions this week and clean them up/switch to local save, etc.

    I have too many damn missions on workshop now lol.

    Are players near each other or on opposite ends of the map? Remember...if you have player groups split...that means more enemy AI spawning in. Also...if you have people flying Helos, that means more units spawning and despawning as the Helo flies across areas of operation.

    I also recommend using a Headless Client, keep your modset clean on the server, and don't set crazy spawn distances (as Friz said, keep it default or less, I typically have it between 1200-1500.)

    Isla Duala - my favorite map. 1. I love the barbed wire border between nations 2. It's an African map...something we DESPERATELY need more of IMO. I'm a sucker for African conflict scenarios.

    Sangin - Love the layout. One of the best IMO. Performance is so so but the goodies on the map make up for that IMO

    Al Rayak - It's huge and has some nice town layouts.

    Diyala - well thought out, gorgeous layout. Also one of the few maps that depicts Iraq.

    FATA - awesome prebuilt FOBs, awesome performance, great layout. Probably my favorite ME map right now (Lythium is great too but has too many bugs right now)
